Rose Petroleum is a London-listed (AIM Ticker: ROSE) Oil and Gas Exploration and Production company primarily focused on unconventional resource plays in the United States. Rose consists of two divisions: Oil & Gas and Mining.

The Company is actively developing significant hydrocarbon assets, primarily in eastern Utah where it has identified significant low to moderate risk opportunities in a number of existing and emerging shale resource plays which can be brought into production within a relatively short period of time. To date, Rose has acquired 230,000 acres in two active shale plays in Utah.

In addition, Rose is actively exploring passive Joint Venture development or divestiture of its legacy VANE Minerals mining assets to maximise shareholder value with little to no capital expenditure.
